Velvet Buzzsaw is a thriller set in the contemporary art world scene of Los Angeles, where big money artists and mega-collectors pay a high price when art collides with commerce.

Gyllenhaal plays an art critic who appears to be having some personal problems with his gallery, when he is suddenly introduced to some incredible new work by an artist who has mysteriously already died. He decides to show this work in his gallery, but he soon discovers that there is something very, VERY wrong with the pieces…
