‘Metro: Exodus’ Gets a New Trailer at Xbox’s E3 Briefing

LOS ANGELES (Variety.com) – Microsoft showed off more of Deep Silver’s sci-fi shooter “Metro: Exodus” in a new trailer on Sunday.

According to an Xbox Wire press release , the game is “an epic, story-driven first-person shooter from 4A Games that blends deadly combat and stealth with exploration and survival horror in one of the most immersive game worlds ever created.” Players will explore a “Russian wilderness across vast, nonlinear levels and follow a thrilling storyline that spans an entire year through spring, summer, and autumn to the depths of nuclear winter.” The game is inspired by a series of post-apocalyptic science-fiction novels by Dmitry Glukhovsky.

“Metra: Exodus” is set for release on Feb. 22, 2019, for One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

The Electronic Entertainment Expo kicked off Sunday with the Xbox E3 2018 Briefing at 1 p.m. PT; you can watch the broadcast live here . The presser is being held at the Theater across the street from the main event area. This year’s takes place this week, from June 12 to June 14, at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Twitch’s  official coverage  of the event began in earnest Sunday afternoon.
