Inclusion Impact Report 2019

By Jordan Moreau

LOS ANGELES (Variety.com) – From HR executives to rappers and comedians, this year’s Inclusion Impact list recognizes those in the entertainment industry working to create a more inclusive and diverse space for creatives. Many have taken part in initiatives like USC Annenberg’s 50/50 by 2020 which fights for gender parity in the workplace, and others have taken on in-house diversity efforts to ensure every employee feels at home in the office, despite gender, race, or sexuality. While all were forthcoming about the obstacles they’ve faced in increasing representation and inclusion, each charitable leader has made it clear that diversity is no longer seen as desired but as necessary.
