Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Baby: What to Expect

Britain’s Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle, wife of Queen Elizabeth’s grandson Prince Harry, is pregnant with the couple’s first child due in the spring of 2019

The happy news is 5 months after their royal wedding on May 19.   The couple began dating in after meeting on a blind date and were revealed as a few in October 2016.

JULY 2016

OCTOBER 20, 2016

Markle shares a selfie on Instagram inwhich she wears a bracelet reportedly given to her by Harry. Harry later wears the same bracelet!

Instagram/shutterstockThe royal wore the couple’s matching “his and hers” bracelet — a blue-beaded bangle they’ve both been sporting in recent months. Harry reportedly picked up the bracelets during one of his trips to Africa — and the gift has rarely left the actress’s wrist.

Reports surface that Harry is dating Markle. A royal insider tells PEOPLE that they have been seeing each other for “a couple of months.”

A source told the Sunday Express the pair were “taking it a step at a time”, adding: “He’s happier than he’s been for many years.”

Harry confirms he is dating Markle with an unprecedented public statement.  “Prince Harry is worried about Ms. Markle’s safety and is deeply disappointed that he has not been able to protect her,” the statement read.

“It is not right that a few months into a relationship with him that Ms. Markle should be subjected to such a storm. He knows commentators will say this is ‘the price she has to pay’ and that ‘this is all part of the game.’ He strongly disagrees. This is not a game — it is her life and his.”

Prince William releases a statement of his own, this one equally unprecedented, refuting reports that he was displeased with Harry’s decision to publicly condemn reports about Markle.

“The Duke of Cambridge absolutely understands the situation concerning privacy and supports the need for Prince Harry to support those closest to him.”

For his first overseas getaway with girlfriend Meghan Markle, Prince Harry chose the tiny Norwegian town of Tromvik, and booked a modest-looking Airbnb instead of a five-star hotel.

There, they were able to whale watch and see the Northern Lights, though a local told that the couple was “discreet” during their stay.

Just hours after landing in Sydney to begin their first royal tour, Meghan and Harry announce that they are expecting their first child.

As are the Queen, Pprince Philip, Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, the palace states. Elderly members of the royal household who were at Princess Eugenie wedding on Friday were able to congratulate the few in person.

Prince William and Kate Middleton’s kids have been stealing the spotlight as they were welcomed into the world. And infant Prince Louis, six months, is going to be the perfect playmate for his new sibling.

The royal couple have talked publicly about their desire to start a family, with Prince Harry playfully shooting down a suggestion he must have five kids! & rdquo,” Harry explained when asked about infant plans after the couple got engaged.

Prince Harry has also had plenty of experience being around kids as uncle to the three kids of William. On his wedding day, both he and Meghan were impressed with the youngest members of their wedding party.
