The 2020 Beauty Innovators

LOS ANGELES (Variety.com) – On Feb. 4, Variety and Armani Beauty will recognize five of Hollywood’s freshest face-makers at the second annual Makeup Artistry Dinner at Sunset Tower Hotel. Whether professionally schooled or thrown into the field, Carolina Gonzalez, Melanie Inglessis, Kayleen McAdams, Molly R. Stern and Mai Quynh are red-carpet standouts who’ve helped this season’s biggest awards contenders shine on the beauty front. Muses such as Olivia Wilde, Maya Rudolph, Rachel McAdams, Alessandra Ambrosia and Lily Aldridge, will attend the event.

The makeup artists have created contoured lips, artful eyes and nontraditional looks (think: a made-up eye, sans mascara), while all bolstering a more natural, less-is-more approach to skin. Here, they dish on favorite looks and how they’ve cultivated celebrity cult followings.
